Age Group Detection System

Designed and implemented an end-to-end computer vision pipeline to classify facial images into age groups, incorporating data preprocessing, feature extraction and machine learning model evaluation. Developed practical experience in computer vision, machine learning, model optimisation and Python while evaluating different classification approaches.

Theatre Booking System

Worked as the System Analyst within a multidisciplinary Agile team to design and develop a theatre booking system, gathering requirements and producing UML diagrams and technical documentation. This project developed my systems analysis, software testing and collaborative software engineering skills while working closely with cross-functional teams.

Cloud Computing Project

Led a university cloud computing project, coordinating team activities, delegating responsibilities and managing project documentation to support successful delivery. This experience strengthened my leadership, organisation and communication skills while applying Agile principles within a collaborative development environment.

Google Cloud Skills Boost

Completed practical Google Cloud laboratories, deploying applications with App Engine and Cloud Run while configuring IAM policies and managing cloud resources using Google Cloud CLI. This strengthened my understanding of cloud architecture, automation, scalability, security principles and Python scripting through hands-on experience.

2D Platform Game

Designed and developed a 2D platform game, implementing player movement, collision detection and core gameplay mechanics using object-oriented programming principles. This project enhanced my software development, debugging and analytical problem-solving skills through iterative testing and refinement.

Web Development 

Completed the freeCodeCamp Responsive Web Design certification, independently developing a range of responsive websites including a survey form, product landing page, technical documentation page and personal portfolio. This strengthened my front-end development skills through the application of semantic HTML, responsive CSS design and browser developer tools to test, troubleshoot and optimise layouts.
