
My name is Ellenor, but everyone calls me El. I moved to Preston in 2022 to study Forensic Science and Criminal Investigation at the University of Lancashire, and I graduated last year. I am going back to university in September to do my postgrad in Forensic Biology.
I am a dedicated professional with a passion for craft cocktails, and I have extensive skills in customer service, building rapport with both staff and customers. I am trained in both food allergy and intolerance management and health and safety awareness. I work well under pressure during high volume periods and I have a very resilient personality. I am efficient with time management, and have excellent memory recall when it comes to taking customers orders. I am proficient in verbal communication, cash handling, bar cleaning procedures, and comfortable with late hours. I learn new things very quickly and I always strive to become the best I can be when it comes to learning new skills, I am a bit of a perfectionist however that does not effect my ability to serve customers in a timely manner.
I was promoted to Supervisor at Haighton Manor in October 2025 after two years working as bar/wait staff, and with my new role, I gained experience in supporting my team whilst both on shift and also off shift if they had other problems going on that could affect them in work. I began working at Da Carlo's in Boston Spa as my first hospitality job post-COVID in 2020. As a small family-owned restaurant, both the kitchen staff and the front of house staff worked as a tight knit team.
