As a Regional Consultant, I covered Kent, East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Dubai.

With my day-to-day tasks including:

  • Building and maintaining excellent rapport with clients and candidates alike
  • Winning new business by proactively reaching out to agents within in my areas - through market research on job boards, area searches, specking out strong candidates and responding to job postings
  • Agreeing set terms and ensuring a full breakdown of the required position and ideal candidate has been considered
  • Creating and posting adverts to all major job boards and LinkedIn
  • Working roles through calls/sms/emails out to applicable candidates on the database, reaching out to active job board candidates and head hunting via LinkedIn
  • Registering candidates whilst running through job roles
  • Sending across CV's and Summaries to clients for reviewal & to schedule initial interview (Summaries included brief overview of experience and applicable stats for the year)

Initially, sourcing Temporary Ad Hoc workers for one of the largest Bakeries in the UK, dealing with regular inductions for 6 live sites

Then progressing to recruit for the UK's largest network provider, providing Emergency Call handlers and Customer Service Advisors for the Northern Ireland Government

  • Dealing with the entire candidate process - contacting successful applicants, conducting ID Verifications and initial interviews via Teams, government portal and 3rd party document verifier and completing DBS checks - then providing offers/ feedback to candidates
  • Regularly liaising with the client/sites to confirm interviewees, retrieve feedback and provide details of confirmed starters for the next scheduled intake
  • Overseeing 6 live sites alongside my 2 colleagues

I thrive under pressured environments, having regularly recruited for emergency orders under strict time schedules.

With my proactive and positive mindset we as a team were able to achieve a fulfilment rate of 97% for the year exceeding our SLA agreement 95%

During the year of 2022, my account made the business a profit of £500k.

As PA to head of Department my daily tasks would involve:

  • taking inbound clientele calls for the Head of Department
  • Contacting HMRC and OPG to follow up on grant of Probate and LPA applications
  • Managing HOD diary via outlook, scheduling client meetings via Teams or in person
  • Setting up meetings, ensuring all required documentation has been provided prior to meeting
  • Completing write up of dictations
  • Supporting the branch manager with workload as required
  • Minute taking for Departmental and senior meetings

This position further enabled me to develop my resilience whilst maintaining excellent service at all times no matter how difficult the call/situation

Legal secretary

Left position due to office closure (redundancy)

As a legal sectary my daily tasks would include:

  • Liaising with clientele, police officers, court Officials and counsel - via email and phone (to note a few).-
  • Creating, updating, billing, closing and archiving physical and digital files - ensuring systems are up to date and all details are centralised to the database
  • Outlook diary Management for the Solicitors and Directors, arranging client meetings, sending reminders to both Solicitiors/directors and clients for court hearings and appearances
  • Completing Dictations to ensure all files were up to day, sending across scriptures as required also

Most cases were difficult and sensitive.

Clientele would often call in irate depending on verdicts or how the case is unfolding so far.

I would ensure I upkept my friendly and calm demeanor, understanding their circumstance can cause frustration, providing as much support and detail as possible. Escalating to the Solicitior/ Director covering their case when needed to provide the client with as much peace of mind as possible.

Team secretary - Natural Resources

I initially joined RKH specialty as a receptionist, then being headhunted for the Team Secretary role by the Head PA for my organised, enthusiastic and attentive manner on reception

  • I looked after a team of 26, including mainly Executive and Divisional Directors

My working environment was always fast paced, meaning organisation and team management was imperative

Writing daily to-do list ensuring to mark up urgent tasks, I would always ensure all tasks were completed before the end of the day.

  • Some of my daily tasks included: organizing client trips/visits, sending reminders to the team to ensure attendance to meetings and itinerary had been received, internal/external meetings, scheduling diaries, creating/amending meeting itineraries and accounting expenses, to detail a few.

This position enabled me to work well under pressure, with last minute changes often occurring to meetings, booking or even business trips. Upkeeping a positive mindset meant I was able to thrive within this working environment, only leaving this position due to relocation to Norfolk.
