A hardworking, encouraging and motivated graduate, I am committed to imparting knowledge and supporting young people to achieve their full educational potential.
Attentive, I have tailored teaching approaches for one to one reading and writing support for children with dyslexia, encouraging them throughout and addressing their individual learning needs. Patient, I am diligent, adept with young people, having improved the English level and confidence of two french children through personalised teaching approaches, diverse reading materials, explanation and encouragement whilst managing challenging behaviour. I also have experience providing feedback and discussing expectations with parents.
From my secondary and university education, I am experienced in English oral and written clear, concise, effective communication and efficient problem-solving skills. Bilingual in English and French, I have studied English Language, Literature, Maths and History Geography until my last year at school and have finished a Neuroscience BSc at the University of Edinburgh.
