Ella Tribe

I currently work at a local pub helping within each aspect of the restaurant. I often work in the kitchen but have recently started working more with customers, assisting their needs and maintaining a positive environment within the pub. My time here has been enjoyable as I take on more challenges and responsibilities in a fast-pace experience. Key aspects from my job:

• Demonstrated teamwork by assisting fellow staff during peak hours, helping both inside the kitchen and within the restaurant waitressing.
• Followed health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe work environment.
• Improved kitchen flow by maintaining a clean and organised workspace, helping prepare dishes and keeping the workspace clean and hygienic.

During October half term, I completed a three day work experience placement where I helped with children’s art and craft activities over the October half term for Halloween, as well as getting the opportunity to help lead a class with other volunteers.

• Invited to join a project to create a new product for the Pret company after completing an application. I learnt about the factors of creating a popular product for people and how customers respond.
