Ella Waterfield

In this role I was responsible for serving customers from behind the bar, whilst operating the tills and preparing a variety of intricate cocktails and alcoholic beverages. Here, I have developed valuable experience in accurately checking identification of customers, managing cash and card payments, and satisfying the customer's order in a timely fashion. I also readied glasses, garnishes, ice and other bar equipment to ensure quick and efficient service. Within the first few months, I had already become one of the top sellers on my shifts for the bar, processing over £3500 a night.

Whilst at Boots in Acocks Green, I observed interactions between patients and pharmacists, gaining insight into effective communication and customer care. I also took part in dispensing prescriptions and asking the necessary questions to ensure the safe sale of over-the-counter medications. Additionally, I operated the tills and assisted customers with purchasing various products in the store, as well as taking initiative in restocking shelves during downtime, enhancing product availability.

During my time at The Bell, my role consisted of taking orders and serving food to customers whilst ensuring they are satisfied with the service provided. I have experience in handling money, accommodating for special dietary requests and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. I warmly welcomed 100+ guests a night into our restaurant, and ensured they were served promptly. Due to my hard work at The Bell, I have previously been awarded employee of the month.
