Motorsport Engineering student at Oxford Brookes University with a strong ability to excel in high-pressure environments. Demonstrates exceptional teamwork and independent work skills, consistently delivering tasks to a high standard. Committed to achieving perfection in all endeavours, showcasing intelligence and dedication. Aim to pursue the skills acquired in Formula Student to work in a motorsport role.
- Achieved timely completion of Traction Control model refinements, enhancing car performance for competitions.
- Delivered robust model to evaluate power output over 500ms rolling average to simulate scruitineering checks.
- Acquired proficiency in Simulink and MATLAB, improving project outcomes and long term reliability through effective report writing.
- Extensive model testing with Software-In-The-Loop and Hardware-In-The-Loop testing.
- Developed vehicle performance knowledge working alongside vehicle dynamics and electrical assembly knowledge working closely alongside Electrical Integration, Tractive Systems and Electronics; driving continual professional development as an engineer.
- Ensured operational integrity of Low Voltage systems by participating in a thorough LV test bench prior to chassis installation.
- Use of Vector CANoe and MoTeC PDM Manager during test bench and car testing days.
- Working with CANdb++ and ETAS Intecrio and INCA to produce builds for running car.
- Produced detailed engineering design report and portfolio, strengthening competitive positioning.
- Participation in Design Event simulations, learning in depth the Controls System and Electrical Assembly as a whole, whilst developing knowledge as a Controls Engineer.
- Executed Driver-in-the-Loop model development, effectively integrating chassis and tyre parameters for advanced simulations within IPG.
- Chosen to represent Oxford Brookes Racing at FS Germany as one of four women to go; our largest European Competition to attend in the last 11 years.
- Spent two weeks working alongside one of their engineers building a RX-5 140 kit car.
- Involved learning about key structural mechanisms within this model, and the extensive wiring networks across the vehicle.
- Setting up the geometry on the car, ready for a track day.
- Understanding how varying the camber, caster and toe angles, can affect the vehicles handling allowed an insight into RaceCar set up, and key engineering principles.
- Completed restoration efforts on iconic race cars, including 1988 Ligier F1 and Ayrton Senna's Toleman.
Collaborated with chassis and engine build teams to optimise performance of restored vehicles.
- Secured a summer work opportunity over my peer following the weeks work experience.
Advanced understanding of the intricacies of race car design and mechanics, reinforcing commitment to automotive career.
- Worked part time at my local pharmacy, whilst in full-time education.
- Responsibilities included serving customers, organising prescriptions and administration tasks.
- Role had a high responsibility to provide the community with their correct prescriptions.
- Polite, confident, and efficient when serving customers and taking phone calls and meticulous when dispensing medications in order to provide patients with their correct prescriptions.
