Interests

Personal statement , I am a hardworking and motivated individual and am currently on a Gap Year after finishing my A-Levels in 2023

I am currently taking my time to balance working and travelling before I decide what I'd like to do next.

In the summer of 2024 I made the decision to get my WHV to travel and work in Australia - I travelled Australia and Bali and returned to the UK mid January 2025 - this is the reason why I have a break in my CV.

During my time at The Greenway Hotel & Spa (4 AA Red Stars), I gained an exceptional experience of high level customer service and hospitality - this level of training and working within such a high level establishment, has provided me with many skills I can transfer to different environments. I was in a fortunate position to be exposed to many areas within the Hotel & Spa setting and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. I initially worked 15 hours a week, during my last few months of A-levels and then on a more full-time basis from June 2023 onwards.

I secured a waitress job at The Old Elm Inn in early December 2021 and what an incredible experience that was for 13 months. I have learnt many skills from managing customers expectations, delivery high quality customer service and working collaboratively as a team towards a common goal.

I very much enjoy being creative and enjoy travelling whilst experiencing new places and people.

My other interests include baking, creative projects and socialising with my friends. I am fortunate to be able to go on several holidays each year both educational and relaxing. I enjoy taking my dogs on walks, sewing and spending time with friends and family. I also enjoy in skiing with my family in the winter months.
