Ella Brown

I currently help care for and ride racehorses. Each day I'm involved in feeding, mucking out, grooming, and often get to ride out to keep them fit and ready for racing. I'm learning a lot from being part of a busy and professional yard.

Main tasks:

• Ride horses as part of their training routine.
• Groom horses, clean tack, and help keep the yard clean and well organised.
• Feed horses, muck out stables, and check for any signs of injury or illness.
• Help prepare horses for race days and travel with the team when needed. I have won best turned out on a number of occasions.
• Work closely with experienced staff and continue to learn about horse care and racing.

I really enjoy working with racehorses. It's helping me build confidence, improve my riding, and gain valuable experience in the racing industry.
