Prior to this, As a registered Nursing associate, proficient in patient care and teamwork, patient cantered care and managing patient needs through evidenced based practice as well as focusing on individual patients needs and preferences. Working presently with The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust, in the Trauma and Orthopaedics department, committed to delivering high quality patients care enhancing their out comes and fostering support to healthcare environment. Working in a fast-paced hospital setting in a multidisciplinary team, I have consistently demonstrated the ability of working alone and as a team in surgical, wound management , effective patient communication, building good rapport and providing emotional support during difficult times and demonstrating my proficiency.

I am a dedicated and resilience nurse who takes pride in the ability to remain calm under pressure, focused and providing the best possible care for the patients, escalate and document any changes in patient condition, appropriately following the hospital policies. Prioritise and plan patient care plan after taking over the shift

Consented and support patients with nursing and hygiene needs, check pressure area's to prevent pressure sores.

Manual handling of patient using the necessary equipment to securely transfer and manoeuvre patients from bed to chair. Facilitate and manage patients admissions and preparing them for discharge and transfers using the electronic device method and providing relevant follow-up care advice with required prescriptions and medications. Taking and Handing patients over to community nurses, from another hospital using the SBARD, also transferring patients to care home and rehabilitation centres.

Recognise and work within limits of competence as stated by the NMC standard of proficiency, be able to identify when patient is at risks of safety and take appropriate actions, delegating or handing over responsibility of care. Act professionally at all times in line with organisational policies.
