Elizabeth Vine

I have been a teacher for over 20 years, working in a variety of local secondary schools. Prior to my teaching career I worked as an Insurance broker for large broking houses in London, where I broked in Lloyds of London.

• In my current role as a secondary school teacher I am used to working with and speaking to individuals, small groups and large groups of students in the classroom, delivering assemblies and conducting parent evenings.
• I have also managed a department within school so am used to working with and dealing with adults as well as young people.
• My current role requires accuracy and attention to detail, preparing reports and communicating with other members of staff and parents. Being a maths teacher attention to detail and accuracy are of paramount importance.
• As a teacher I work to deadlines, am used to dealing with people in difficult and sensitive situations and managing the conflicting demands of a complex job.
• I am educated to degree level and have A levels in both maths and English.
• My current role requires me to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and TEAMS on a daily basis, so I have a good working knowledge of all these platforms.
• As a teacher I have full GDPR training and am CBS checked to the highest level.
• I have a full driving licence.
