I am a 21-year-old Psychology undergraduate at Oxford Brookes University, about to embark on my third and final year of study. Before university, I completed a Level 1 surf instructor course in Sri Lanka during a gap year, an experience that pushed me out of my comfort zone and showed me the value of taking initiative. My involvement and captaincy in a wide range of sports throughout my time at school and university has taught me teamwork, motivation, and strategic thinking. Alongside this, my varied work experience—including shopkeeping, sports coaching, waitressing, and shadowing top lawyers—I’ve developed strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to high standards, and the ability to work efficiently with others. I bring consistency, time management, and a purpose-led mindset to tasks and challenges, and I am eager to grow within a team that values discretion, resilience, and public service and trust.
