All general HR operations tasks – first point of contact via HR mailbox, following SLA’s, updating colleague records, processing leavers, onboarding of new employees, absence recording and all types of leave on the HR system, providing references and visa letters and documentation, arranging maternity meetings and exit interviews etc.
Employee Check-Ins – Regular check-ins with employees from different departments to make sure everything is well.
Recruitment – I reviewed candidate CV’s, co-ordinated interviews, participated with Head of Departments in these and lead HR interviews.
Payroll tasks – checking payroll for all different entities every month – UK, Malta, South Africa, Italy, Finland, Czech Republic, and contractors.
HR Systems Used – Bamboo, Lattice, MS office, Slack, Google Workspace, Confluence, Ollie Health, and KnowBe4.
HR System Responsibilities – Ensuring the HR system Bamboo is kept up to date with all employee changes. I had ownership of the Lattice employee performance system, I monitored the information on this, sent out performance reviews, collected information via engagement surveys and held training sessions for any changes. I was also a facilitator for the company wellbeing platform Ollie Health and worked with the Ollie Health contact providing feedback to ensure the best service for all employees. I was responsible for updating all employee information on our Confluence employee platform.
Policy Updates – Ensuring attendance at webinars and use of my CIPD membership for employment updates, relating to all entities employed with the company. I updated policies and the employee handbook based on these.
Reports – I produced regular reports on absence, leave, policy signatures and any ad hoc information required for department Chiefs.
Work Permits / VISA’s - I collaborated with new employees and current employees in the UK and Malta, to provide information for work permits and visas. I engaged in this process from beginning to end and was responsible for keeping track of renewals needed and collecting the information needed for these in advance.

Policy Team – updating policies for the company, providing input from a colleague / payroll perspective for HR Business Partner’s and the Executive team. Also producing guides for all colleagues for maternity, paternity, and absence.
Invoice processing – Using the Oracle system to raise PO’s, receipt these, setting up new suppliers and collaborating with the finance team to ensure all terms are met.
HR Systems – Currently using the Resource Link HR system. I have also used Snowdrop and IAW. I have had extremely useful experience of several types of HR system in this role.
Reports – I have produced reports when requested from the HR System on absence, leavers, annual leave, any information needed. I also use these to complete National Statistics surveys on behalf of the company.
Recruitment – I have been involved in all areas of recruitment at various stages. This has included producing contracts, keeping candidates engaged, disclosure checks, arranging welcome packs and organising induction groups. I have had light involvement in interviews with HR Specialists and CV screening.
