Elizabeth Cargill

Full UK Driving License, ABRSM Grades, 1&3 in Flute, 2018, 2019

I am a member of The University of Dundee Women’s Hockey Club and I currently play for the second XI. I am a former member of Boroughmuir Ladies Hockey Club were played for 4 years as part of the first and second XI.

· I enjoy travel and seek out opportunities to experience different cultures. I undertook a 4-month International Study exchange to Waterloo University, Ontario, Canada. I was also a camp leader at the 2022 Explorer Scouts Blair Atholl Jamborette, a 12 day International Camp which brings Scouts together from all over the word.

I am a keen musician and play flute and sing. I sang in the school choir and played the flute in the wind band and orchestra.

I am a keen reader and particularly enjoy fiction.

I am a highly motivated student at The University of Dundee studying Pharmacology within the Faculty of Life Sciences. I have had an interest in human biology from early on in my high school years and was delighted to achieve a place on The University of Dundee's Pharmacology program. I have applied myself and am targeting a First-Class Honours classification. I am now seeking opportunities to acquire new skills and industry experience in the Science sector that will complement my learning and help me progress to a fulfilling career in the pharmaceutical industry. Having already undertaken part of my studies abroad, I can demonstrate creativity, determination and resilience when seeking out new opportunities and making the most of them. 

I also have varied work experience that demonstrates an ability to work in different team environments under pressure, while developing strong communication and time management skills.
