Elizabeth Buckler

Worksop,Nottinghamshire

Summary

I am a highly motivated, innovative and hard-working individual with an exemplary academic record. I have achieved undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in the fields of Criminology and International Security. I have worked across policing and the private-sector. I am keen to learn, develop and grow and my academic and professional experience demonstrate this.

As part of the management team for a cyber security organisation, I understand the frameworks, processes and procedures critical to successful risk management. My role involves regularly working with SMEs on risk reduction with a focus on cyber risks. As well as this, at my current organisation I am responsible for us adhering to strict data protection regulations which govern Policing.

A stand-out skill of mine is translating complex issues and cyber security issues into an easy to digest format. I regularly engage with a wide range of stakeholders from the UK's most senior police officers to owners of local SMEs. Adapting both written and spoken communications to suit my audience is one of reasons I am so successful in my current role.

Following the strengths I bring to the role, I'm also an all rounded individual. I take pride in my work load balancing skills, managing stakeholder expectations and solving problems both individually and as part of a high performing team. I have a positive work ethic, and work well as part of a team and individually.

Progressing my career, I'm excited to continue developing my skills and knowledge within a Risk focused role, whilst bringing real value to a team and learning from my peers.
