I have been part of the AAPS committee since 2021 and attend district PD focused trainings when budgets allow. Trained in identifying characteristics of gifted learners, including underrepresented populations, twice-exceptional students, and early elementary indicators.  I collaborate regularly with the school's AAPS teacher to design enrichment opportunities, differentiated tasks, and extension projects for advanced learners.  Experienced in cluster grouping high-ability students and tailoring instruction to meet the advanced academic needs within the general education classroom.  I implement enrichment strategies such as inquire-based learning, higher order questioning, and play based discovery learning.
