I pride myself on the fact that I have represented England and Great Britain in the Commonwealth and Olympic Games in swimming. This strict level of discipline has made me the hard working, committed person that I am today. I believe that with the correct mind set, anything can be achieved. Gaining this recognition has enabled me to adapt in the face of challenging circumstances. I have found having a positive, solution focused mind set not only boosts morale of those around you but also encourages others to have a constructive approach. Having this recognition has allowed me to deliver assemblies to children on resilience and positive mindset. This is something I am very passionate about and continue my work as an Olympic ambassador for the Olympic organisation. As well as this my experience in teaching swimming has also allowed me to lead and arrange the timetable for school swimming and swimming galas.
