Primary Objectives of the Job
- To participate in and lead them of operatives to produce pack product/subassembly parts.
- To follow weekly plan requirements with efficient use of equipment and resources and in accordance with the company's standard operating procedures.
- To ensure all work centre documentation is completed.
- To load tooling on work centre and ensure control of tooling spares.
Main Tasks and Key Areas of Work
- Follow company policy in all matters of Health and Safety.
- Ensure that work centre efficiencies are maximized.
- Liaise effectively with other departments and ensure effective communication between shifts and other members of the team.
- Ensure that the team comply and follow the Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ensure that output targets are met and quality of products meet required standards.
- Use all the production data and recourses available independently to establish actual work centres losses and reduce these by leading FI projects and problem solving activities.
- Carry out AM activities and ensure that all standards and schedules are in place and adhered to.
- Create and train out all the relevant documentation.
- Develop and monitor training plans for team members to ensure they are fully trained and capable of carrying out their duties.
- Ensure that all production data is recorded correctly and delivered on time to Production Administrator.
- to maintain daily cleaning procedures and good housekeeping practice within the work area.
