Elijah Waddington

I am a self motivated and enthusiastic BBC apprentice with a strong passion for music and an incredibly varied creative and technical skillset, with years of experience in live music ensembles and a love for protecting grassroots and community led projects within the classical, jazz and folk sphere.

As an apprentice I have a strong background of timely task completion and prioritisation. I am a quick-learner and team player committed to shadowing experienced workers to enhance my skillset, committed to consistency and quality supported by superior attention to detail.

• Jambone: I was the lead saxophonist of The Glasshouse's house band doing big band and improvisational work, getting the experience of travelling across the UK and working with artists such as Mama Terra and Kokoroko.
• National Youth Choir- I volunteered to mentor kids in their first choral performance with NYT and it was a brilliant experience and sparked a strong passion for passing on classical music to a younger generation.
