  • Company Overview - WeMatter is a digital service offering specialised support and information to children and young people affected by domestic abuse.
  • Initially operating in Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Brent (London), and Devon & Cornwall. Under my leadership, the service expanded from 4 local authorities to over 100 within six months.
  • Prior to WeMatter's England-wide expansion, WeMatter underwent a pilot evaluation for two years, the total number of referrals was 493. Within six months of the England-wide expansion, this figure has been surpassed, WeMatter's current referrals sit at 530 and counting.
  • Partnership building - Strategically established and maintained robust relationships with key stakeholders, including Police Crime Commissioners (PCCs), Domestic Abuse Services, Social Services, schools & academies and national charities such as Catch-22, Young Minds and Young Carers.
  • Outreach - Conducted over 50 service introductions for stakeholders, hosted two webinars with a combined attendance of over 210 participants, facilitated a “Healthy Relationships” workshop for a total of 888 secondary school students in Bolton via Zoom, and established a Youth Advisory Board with 18 children & young people (CYPs) who previously received support from WeMatter.
  • Team Leadership - Co-led a team of six programme facilitators, overseeing recruitment of several team members, inductions, team meetings, case reviews, 1:1 sessions and performance development reviews (PDRs).
  • Social Media Management - Oversaw WeMatter's presence on Instagram and X, collaborating with our in-house digital team to implement best practices for enhancing visibility and engagement.
