Elijah Duncan

I have been involved with Daviot/Oldmeldrum Scouts since I was a Cub, progressing to Scouts and briefly an Explorer. I decided to go back to scouting to volunteer as a Young Leader. I have been doing this for almost a year. Within this role I have learnt many new skills such as, leadership, better communication skills and increased self confidence.

I also enjoy skateboarding and BMX. I began this journey at Transition Extreme initially through private lessons then onto group lessons. I really enjoyed this as it gave me a sense of freedom and boosted my confidence at being able to try and succeed at new things, I even got my dad to start skateboarding at 40!

• I enjoy skateboarding, BMX riding and have recently taken up golf.
