Retail experience and skills

Whilst the later years of my CV  are heavily child care based, my earlier career days were in the retail industry.

During school and college I worked at Etam as a weekend and Christmas employee. Here I learned vital skills such as customer care, merchandising, till operations, fitting room procedures and how to mark down and manage sales stock.

When I went to university I worked in New Look Cardiff one day a week and at weekends. When I returned home in university term breaks I worked at the Taunton store. In this role I put into practice everything I had learned at Etam and also learned procedures unique to the New Look brand.

Then when I had my children I worked as a Christmas temp in Debenhams department store in Taunton.

I have taken a break from work since being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Lupus. But I am now stable on medication and wish to gain employment over the Christmas period, with the hoe of returning to a more permanent employment in the New Year.
