Eleanor Hargreaves

As a recent MSc graduate in Health Psychology, building upon my BSc in Cognitive Neuroscience & Psychology, and with experience as a floor supervisor in hospitality, I possess a unique skill set that I am eager to apply in a professional setting. In a previous role, I successfully helped lead a team of 10 employees and organised team-building activities to boost staff morale and productivity. I can use my customer service skills, teamwork abilities, and knowledge of food and beverage to provide excellent service to guests. My academic background in Health Psychology adds depth to my understanding of behaviour and well-being, which I leverage to enhance guest experiences and team dynamics.

  Over the past year, I organised activities such as dance sessions for vulnerable individuals and assisted in distributing essential supplies. This role strengthened my active listening skills, enabling me to understand and respond to the needs of those we supported.
• Volunteer, Major Trauma Ward, Manchester Royal Infirmary (MRI)
  I assisted with patient data collection and provided non-clinical support on the Major Trauma Ward. I demonstrated empathy by offering emotional support to patients and helped maintain a calm, compassionate environment alongside medical staff in a high-pressure setting.
