- "Frozen Memories: A COVID-19 Memorial at St Dunstan in the East” 16th of March 2022. Solo Project.
"Frozen Memories" is an evocative art installation designed to honour the victims of COVID-19 and reflect on the transformative experience of the two-year lockdown. This project juxtaposes the delicate beauty of flowers with the harshness of ice, set against the resilient backdrop of St Dunstan in the East, a church that has itself survived fire and bombing. The installation serves as a poignant symbol of strength, volatility, and the fragility of life.
- "Oval Voices" November - December 2022. Group Project.
In the heart of our vibrant community stood the Oval Cricket Club Pub, a historic and beloved landmark that faced the threat of demolition. Recognising the pub's significance to the local community, we embarked on a mission to save it by creating a mural that would capture the spirit, diversity, and deep-rooted connections of the neighbourhood. "Oval Voices" is more than just a mural; it is a tapestry of our community’s collective memories, values, and aspirations. The project was inspired by the need to visually articulate the importance of the Oval Cricket Club Pub as a cultural and social hub. By engaging with local residents and visitors, we posed tough, thought-provoking questions to gather their thoughts and feelings about the pub and its role in their lives.
- “She Lives” autumn - winter 2019/2020. Solo Project.
“She Lives" is an evocative series of illustrations for the series of broadcasts meant to be streamed on BBC Asia that visually narrates the inspiring stories of South Asian women. These broadcasts aimed to highlight the diverse experiences, struggles, and triumphs of women across South Asia. As the illustrator for this series, I created simple, single-line drawings that effectively capture the essence of each story, emphasising the universal and diverse nature of the South Asian community.
