Nursing is a profession that requires to be strong and empathetic. I have been working in the Health and Social Care environment as well as within an acute hospital setting caring for the elderly with dementia and a variety of physical health conditions.

This period of time gave me an unforgettable opportunity to gain insight into the world of elderly people with complex needs. I am skilled in delivering direct patient care, actualising individualised treatment plans and helping patients meet recovery goals.

I am aware of the challenges ahead and I have a realistic understanding of the nursing profession, however, the work experience in a busy environment and skills I have possessed such as critical thinking and decision making, accountability, prioritising people as well as preserving safety, can be transferred into any clinical and health care setting. Those values are necessary for the implementation of attention to detail in monitoring and treatment of individuals for continued positive progress and results.

I am skilled in prioritising patient needs and daily assessments, I do enjoy working as a team member as well as being an autonomous practitioner.
I am a well-disciplined, hardworking person with good interpersonal skills allowing me to be at ease with a range of other people.
My personal interests include physical activities such as reading, hiking, yoga, cycling and archery.
