A hardworking, driven chemical engineering student, interested in learning about different industries with the desire to find a potential career to pursue.
Worked as part of a team to set up and carry out large scale events including weddings, parties, conferences and meetings. Was trusted to independently set up meetings and conferences during the week as well as learning to communicate effectively within a team when carrying out large scale weddings and parties.
Started to referee when i was thirteen, gave me confidence and helped me to develop my communication skills. I was responsible for the children and was depended on by the teams and coaches, it gave me a foundation for being reliable and having excellent time keeping skills.
Time Keeping:
-Through years of refereeing and maintaining a job whilst simultaneously studying for my A-levels developed excellent time keeping skills
Resilience and Discipline:
-Developed through the requirements of playing sport from the age of five at both school and club level, returning from lengthy injuries Also developed through experience of working long hours at a hotel whilst maintaining performance level and professionalism
Analytical Thinking:
-Enhanced through my STEM background where an ability to analyse data, problem solve and draw conclusions is vital to improve
Inquisitive:
-Enjoy learning and developing new and existing skills to ensure self progression and improvement
Completed a weeks work experience at Sellafield, learning the skills needed for each discipline within the engineering and data analysis department, this lead me to pursue a degree in chemical engineering.
