I have worked for the NHS for the last 9 years within Quality Improvement and Data Analysis. I was made redundant in January 2026. In some ways I am pleased about this as I would much prefer to be in a patient facing role which requires more "moving and meeting" rather than sitting at a screen and "ticking boxes". I am ok with taking a paycut as I am in a good position financially.
Before I started to work for the NHS, I volunteered for Chelsea and Westminster hospital, and enjoyed being able to listen to and care for patients and their visitors.
