Ensuring UK borders are kept safe by dealing with members of travelling public. Checking passports, visa's and relevant travel documentation to ascertain lawful entry into the UK. Also identifying counterfeit and fraudulent documents.

Also worked at Juxtapost controls in France during Covid 19 pandemic to facilitate the return of British citizens from overseas.

Upheld and ensured compliance of strict social distancing measures at all times.

As a qualified counter terrorism Officer I had responsibility for persons of interest who may pose a threat to the UK. This involved intelligence of known persons of interest, interviewing persons returning to the UK from areas of conflict and disseminating information to the security services.

Obtaining bio data details and obtaining any information from electronic devices that could be useful in an investigation eg London and Manchester bombings.

Along with doing the above I also dealt with general crime matters ranging from basic theft to serious assaults.

I have worked for a number of years on a response vehicle attending all forms of crime, accidents and life threatening situations for which I received a Royal Humane Society award for saving life.
