Eddie Brearey

This is a part-time role that I do in the evenings.

I am currently working at Sokkr Academy working with goalkeepers aged 17-23 in smaller groups of up to 4 on a weekly basis. I work directly with them for an hour before they join the team, where I then help oversee the whole session alongside another coach.

I have worked at Future Goalkeeper as one of the lead coaches at their Lower heyford venue for the last 3 years. I work with goalkeepers between the ages of 5 and 16 in 2 separate 1-hour sessions. In addition to this I was Head coach of their Carterton venue for 2 years working within the same age range. I also worked as an assistant goalkeeper coach at their Oxford venue for 2 years before moving to the Heyford sessions.

I started at Oxford United Academy when i was 9 years old working my way up to the first team. Learning multiple skills both in and out of football on my way, training and learning with some of the highest-level players and coaches in England. Having been on a scholarship there for 3 years to earning 2 professional contracts whilst being named on the first team matchday squad multiple times. I have also been on multiple loans creating numerous connections and helping me grow as both a player and a person.
