I am currently studying for my A-levels at Coombe Sixth Form and I have an unconditional offer to study Film and Television at Bournemouth University - starting in September 2026.
I consider myself to be a bright, lively and outgoing person not afraid of hard work. I do not have a huge amount of work experience as I have mostly concentrated on my academic studies. However, I have worked at Pret A Manger in Camden and worked as a waitress at weddings and other events in Oxford and have found both experiences enjoyable and rewarding.
I live with my mum, dad and two sisters in Kingston. As well as English I speak fluent Swedish (as that's where my mum is originally from). I am passionate about watching and making films and my dream is one day to work in that indstry.
I have worked as a waitress/server at weddings and events in the Oxford area. This has primarily involved serving food and drinks in a relaxed, semi-formal setting, engaging with guests as well as helping to prepare and arrange the presentation of dishes,
This was a was a summer job for about a month, where I learnt to use the tills and serve the customers, it was a very busy shop so was hard work but a lot of fun. This went very well and they put me on the Pret system and I was offered further shifts. However, the distance from home meant this was not ideal, especially with starting sixth form. Unfortunately, there have been no openings in local branches that I have been able to take up due to studying for my A-levels.
Good time management
