I am Mabel Akaninyene Akpan, formally Mabel Jonathan Akpabio. I was born into the AKPABIO's FAMILY in Mkpok Village, ONNA Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State- Nigeria. I was given birth to at Isolo, Lagos, Nigeria. I grew up in Akwa Ibom State, did my Secondary Education at Adiaha Obong Secondary School in Uyo and later attended the University of Calabar, Calabar, Cross River State; where I studied Environmental Protection & Management Science. My working experience started with RAMATA Surveys, where I served as the Customer Service Person and Later proceeded to FIRST BANK NIGERIA LIMITED, where I continued as Transaction Officer.
