Founder and operator of a successful, multi-award-winning business focused on developing character and life skills through sport and active learning. CELS now employs five members of staff and continues to grow year on year, working across North Wales and beyond.

Over the two years, I dedicated myself to delivering character education programs full-time within multiple schools in North Wales for a large company. Drawing upon a decade of experience in the field, I have cultivated strong relationships with local schools, enriching my understanding of their dynamics, staff, and the challenges associated with integrating external services. This extensive experience not only showcases my commitment to character education but also underscores my practical knowledge of school operations, staff dynamics, and the potential obstacles involved in engaging third-party services. This role spaked my passion for character education.
Worked with a diverse range of young people across Anglesey, creating and delivering programmes to support their physical and mental well-being. Held responsibility for securing accreditations in both sport and education, and coordinated all aspects of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award across the island.
Delivered the 5x60 physical activity programme at Ysgol David Hughes, engaging pupils in regular sport and physical activity. Worked across all secondary schools on Anglesey to increase participation levels and promote active lifestyles. Organised and coordinated large-scale community multi-sport camps, providing inclusive opportunities for young people to get involved in sport outside of school hours.
