- I assisted in the management of clients in the Education portfolio.
- Gained exposure to client interactions, onboarding, deal completions, and experience with operating platforms such as SalesForce, nCino & Servicing.
2nd placement - FX & Rates Sales
- I gained experience with FX and Interest rate hedging products, systems, and pricing tools.
- Contributed to client origination in the East of England for SMEs and MSBs with potential FX flows and gained exposure to multiple deal processes.
3rd placement - Product Manager
- I succeeded in completing various projects for the team, including the development of a new Fixed Rate Loan sales process, and training modules for all Corporate staff to complete. I also worked with the marketing and strategy teams to generate product factsheets for internal and external stakeholders for the new product.
4th placement - Structured Finance (Large Corporates)
- I worked on structured debt transactions mainly for large corporates with £100m+ turnover.
- Enhanced skills in Excel, financial modelling, credit analysis, and understanding of legal documentation and comprehension.
5th placement - International Proposition & Transactional FX
- Working across three teams to expand my learning and understanding of Santander's international proposition and Transactional FX.
- Engaged in multiple internal projects related to the International Current Account, Transactional FX Pitchbook, and web-related design tasks.
- Gained proficiency in industry-specific software tools with rigorous practice sessions.
