I currently work as a salaried GP at High Street surgery in Golborne, Wigan, where I see patients with various presentations in the primary care setting as well as being part of other day to day jobs in a GP Surgery. In addition to this, I am the GP supervisor in charge of medical students training within the surgery

In addition to this, I also do Locum sessions in the OOH settings and the extended access settings within Wigan and in other places.

I did regular Locum shifts in the UTC of the A&E in Wigan during my ST3 year. My work involved seeing patients in the UTC with undifferentiated presentations and addressing their health needs including treating and discharging or admiting under a specialty as may be required.

• Six monthly postings as part of GP training comprising 18 months in the hospital and 18 months in primary care

• Medical SHO (Senior House Officer) from August, 2020, to February, 2021, day to day work on the medical ward managing patients as part of the medical team as well as on call shifts as medical SHO. First three months were in Gerriatrics/Elderly Care and the last 3 months were in Acute Medicine

• Senior House Officer (SHO) in Accident and Emergency from February, 2021 to August 2021. Seeing and managing acute cases in the Emergency department and working as part of the ED team

• GP Plus dermatology dual posting from August, 2021 to February, 2022. Worked 3 days as GPST2 at The Grange GP Surgery, WIgan and worked 2 days a week as SHO in Dermatolgy. My time in dermatology was divided between working with the team in Leigh in the outpatient clinics and the day case theatres as well as working half day a week in the Tier 2 Dermatology Clinics

• SHO in Psychiatry from February 2022 to August 2022. First three months were spent in inpatient psychiatry working on the ward as well as on call shifts. The last 3 months were spent with the community mental health team as a junior doctor in the outpatient clinics of the recovery team (north)

• From August 2022 till August, 2023, worked as full time GP Registrar in Shakespeare GP surgery, WIgan, running, day to day clinics seeing a variety of cases involving various presentations.

Worked as Clinical Fellow in the Neonatal Unit of the Royal Bolton Hospital for 18 months where I was involved in several aspects of newborn care including tertiary neonatal services in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) as well as the Special Care Baby Unit and the Post Natal Ward (PNW). I was also actively involved in the resuscitation and management of newborns in the obstretics theatres and delivery suites

• I worked as a resident doctor (registrar) in the department of paediatrics of the federal medical centre, this is part of the residency training programme for paediatrics in Nigeria

• In the course of my training I had rotations in various specialties including the Paediatrics Emergency Unit, Neonatology Paediatric Haemato-Oncology, Paediatric Infectious Diseases, Paediatric Cardiology, Paediatric Neurology, Paedaitric Nephrology and Radiology.

My work as a Medical Officer during this period involved working as a junior doctor in a non-training post. My work was divided between working as a Medical Officer in Obstretics and Gynaecology for about half of the time and for the last half I worked as a Medical Officer in Paediatrics

Worked at the Staff Clinic of the Department of State services in a non-training post where I was part of a team that provided outpatient day to day healthcare to the staff in a primary care setting

Worked as an Intern/House Officer immediately after medical school - equivalent FY1. Had 3 monthly rotations in Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics and Obstretics and Gynaecology
