GMC-registered doctor with over two years of NHS experience across Acute Medicine, Care of the Elderly, Gastroenterology, Cardiology, Same Day Emergency Care and General Surgery. Experienced in acute assessment, evidence-based decision-making, multidisciplinary collaboration and high-quality clinical documentation. Since medical school, I have been particularly interested in clinical research, drug development and pharmaceutical medicine. Acute Medicine and General Internal medicine: Assessed and managed high volumes of acutely unwell adults, Clerked acute admissions, developed management plans, recognised deterioration, coordinated investigations and discharge.

SDEC : Conducted rapid assessments for same-day emergency patients, Delivered rapid ambulatory assessment to facilitate early supported discharge.

Cardiology: Assessed chest pain, arrhythmias, heart failure and acute cardiac presentations.

Why Clinical Research

Throughout medical school, I was particularly interested in research, pharmacology and the scientific principles underpinning therapeutics. My NHS career has provided an excellent foundation in clinical medicine and patient safety, while reinforcing my ambition to contribute to the development of new medicines through clinical research. I believe combining strong clinical judgement with scientific curiosity is fundamental to becoming an effective Clinical Research Physician.
