Experienced and dedicated GP working for the GSTT @home service since it was piloted in 2011. This service provides enhanced medical care in the community aiming to both reduce admissions to hospital and facilitate early discharge. I work closely with a multi-disciplinary team including nurses, consultants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and social workers. Prior to this I trained and worked at Chrisp Street General Practice, E14. My varied experience has given me invaluable experience of working in highly deprived areas where I have become acutely aware of the social determinants of health. I am attuned to the very the complex needs of such a population. Prior to my training in general practice I gained hospital experience in London, Northern Ireland and the West Midlands. Having spent 1.5 years working in Obstetrics and gynaecology prior to training as a GP and a rotation in sexual health during GP training I continue to have a keen interest in this area.
