Job overview

  • Although I initially was hired as maternity cover, my position was made permanent when that ended. In this role, I took over exam preparation, created cohesive revision resources, graded practice papers and provided additional support to struggling students, promoting improved academic confidence.
  • I was successful in applying for the post of House Director and I held this role for two years. During this time I was in charge of promoting the house system with assemblies, charity events and inter house competitions.
  • In my role as English teacher I ensured that I maintained and exceeded the school standard of 70% grade 7-9 in English at GCSE level.
  • I have also taught A Level literature, achieving 60% A - A* on a yearly basis.
  • Most recently, I have been successful in my application for an Associate Leadership role whereby I am working to create a bespoke curriculum that focuses on consciousness and wellbeing.
