I am a public health lecturer with four years of teaching and research experience. I have an interest, passion, and desire to further my career through teaching and research experience. I am also a multiple international award-winning author and plaque winner recognised in the UK Yorkshire television headlines in 2020. Also, as a public health and health promotional specialist, I have discussed and helped implement policies and discussed public health matters in the media. I possess a BSc Hons in Biomedical Sciences, an MSc degree in Public Health/Health Promotion, and a doctorate in Public Health, and my topic was “exploring the barriers and facilitators for making physical activity lifestyle choices among the UK adult BAME populations during the COVID-19 pandemic." I have published twelve peer-reviewed articles on both qualitative and quantitative research in reputed journals from my doctorate, which are well cited by scholars, researchers, books, and a peer reviewer of three journals. I am an inspirational leader, a co-founder and chairman of the Teesside University Health Students Research Network, and I sit on the leadership committee. My main research interest is in physical activity, adult obesity, health inequalities, non-communicable diseases and conditions, and communicable diseases. Socioeconomic, environmental, and behavioural factors, as well as international travel and migration, foster and increase the spread of communicable diseases. Vaccine-preventable, foodborne, zoonotic, health care-related, and communicable diseases pose significant threats to human health and may sometimes threaten international health security.
A multiple international award-winning author, lifetime author award winner and UK Plaque winner. I was also on television educating the masses on the preventative measures about covid19. I was on sky television, virgin television, leeds local television and free view about 6 times on all the television channels.
