    Clinical Experience:

    As a dedicated Respiratory Physician with a comprehensive background in lung cancer, TB, Bronchiectasis, Airways diseases, Obstructive Sleep Apnoea, Interventional Bronchoscopy, General Respiratory, and General Internal Medicine, I have honed my expertise through extensive training and clinical experience I completed my Core Medical Training in Wales, UK, followed by Specialist Training in Respiratory and General Internal Medicine in London and Manchester I have had the privilege of working at world-class tertiary respiratory centres, Wythenshawe Hospital and University College London Hospitals (UCLH) At These renowned institutions, I gained extensive experience in managing complex respiratory cases and contributing to cutting-edge clinical care and research Currently, I serve as a Consultant Respiratory Physician at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals, a regional centre for respiratory diseases, with a specialist interest in lung cancer, TB/NTM, General Respiratory care, and the innovative Respiratory Virtual Ward

    In my current role, my responsibilities encompass ward rounds in the general respiratory ward, ad-hoc ward rounds for ventilation and level 2 patients in the respiratory enhanced high care unit, general thoracic and specialised lung cancer and TB/NTM clinics, ED in-reach, and managing the Respiratory Virtual Ward I am actively involved in the lung cancer MDT and weekly clinical-imaging meetings, and I conduct procedural lists for bronchoscopy, pleural procedures, and EBUS My commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing respiratory health is the cornerstone of my professional practice


    Management & Leadership Experience:

  • Lead daily ward and board rounds, coordinating multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient and timely patient care
  • Chair Virtual Ward MDT meetings, overseeing complex cases and promoting effective communication across remote and in-hospital teams
  • Actively participate in governance and respiratory business meetings, contributing to service development and resource allocation decisions
  • Reviewed and refined SOPs for Virtual Ward, ED in-reach services, Chest drain and COPD guidelines optimising operational processes and patient pathways
  • Manage junior doctor training and rota coordination, ensuring adequate staffing and compliance with educational needs
  • Mentor colleagues through their CESR process, supporting career development and workforce progression
  • Served as Associate Royal College tutor during training, organising PACES teaching sessions and enhancing resident doctor education
  • Completed various leadership and management courses to strengthen managerial and leadership skills
