Accomplishments

  • Head Girl at Oakwood School: I was required to write a formal letter to the Head Teacher outlining why I would be a strong candidate, followed by two presentations: the first to the teaching board and second in front of 400 students. I was voted by the majority of both students and teachers and successfully got the position.
  • Within my role of Head Girl, I began fund raising for the charity Papyrus. As the leader of this project, I was responsible for managing a team which included my Deputy Head Boy and Girl, and prefects from all year groups.
  • We raised over £3,000 through bake sales, dress up days and activities.
  • For my efforts, I received The Royal British Legion Award.
