1. Provided routine and emergency medical cover during hours of duty and acted on behalf of a consultant in their absence when requested.

2. Collaborated with other SHOs (RMO) to ensure continuous service delivery within hospital premises during specified hours.

In the event of an SHO not attending for duty at the hospital, the current SHO must remain until a replacement is found ensuring continuous cover.
