I actively contributed to a research study investigating risk factors and surgical choices affecting outcomes in adult elective umbilical hernia repair. My responsibilities included:

1. Regularly attended 8:00 am ward rounds to gain insights into admission, discharge, and referral processes within hospital. Acquired comprehensive understanding of NHS system and crucial role of junior doctors in patient care.

1. During my 10-month internship at Bhatia Hospital, I rotated through various departments, including Covid ICU, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Medicine, and Surgery. Assisting in surgeries, providing pre- and post-operative care, and participating in emergency management honed my clinical skills. Additionally, I rotated through Psychiatry, Anesthesia, Paediatrics, Respiratory Medicine, and A&E, and actively participated in the Covid Vaccination Drive. In terms of audit, research, and publications, I am currently part of a research group and Research Update organization, contributing to a research study on risk factors and choice of elective umbilical hernia repair. I have participated in clinical audit and quality improvement project courses, expressing a keen interest in actively participating in such projects.
Dedicated to teaching and training, I have a proven track record of teaching undergraduates and fellow colleagues for a tenure of 3 months. I have also successfully completed a course on teaching methodologies, which I believe will greatly benefit me in my role as a Clinical Fellow.
