I qualified as a General Practitioner in August 2011. I worked as a Locum GP for one year and then started working as a Salaried General Practitioner for a few years before becoming a Partner at the same GP practice. I came out of the partnership and went back to being a salaried GP once I had my daughter ,so that I could focus on being a mother. I subsequently then moved and relocated myself to Chelmsford for schooling purposes and found a salaried GP position locally.

Due to a change in the working pattern in Chelmsford, I then went onto work in Colchester for a few years.

I enjoy working as a GP due to the one to one nature of the profession and I also enjoy working with other professionals in a joint clinical setting. I have experience of working with both the very young and elderly population both within the community setting and in the nursing homes. I also have experience of working with patients with mental health conditions and learning difficulties. I additionally have experience working both within the out of hours setting and working remotely as a Private GP

I would like to look into becoming an examiner on the MRCGP panel and similarly as an examiner in the local medical school.
