I qualified as a General Practitioner in 2017 and have gained extensive experience working across multiple practices in both Locum and salaried GP positions over the past eight years. My responsibilities have encompassed standard daytime general practice, regular Duty Doctor on-call days, and conducting monthly Nursing Home ward rounds. Additionally, I have been actively involved in supervising and mentoring junior colleagues and medical students.
In my capacity as an Out-of-Hours GP, I perform direct clinical assessments via telephone triage and conduct home visits. I enjoy all aspects of medicine which is why I chose a career in General Practice. Currently my main areas of experience include women’s health, elderly care and management of safeguarding of children and adults.
I am dedicated, diligent, and reflective in my practice. I strive to be a supportive and considerate team member while demonstrating effective leadership abilities. I am committed to continuous professional development and take great interest in teaching and educational activities.
I run regularly and enjoy taking part in organized races whenever possible. I am a member of a local running club. It encourages me to challenge myself and work harder. It's also a great way to meet new people. I attend a local gym, where I participate in weight training classes. In addition, a group of us organizes monthly trail runs, which I find both enjoyable and invigorating. Exercise has become invaluable in helping me manage stress and maintain my wellbeing. Training for my first marathon has given me a new sense of purpose and focus. Setting this goal motivates me to stick to my routine, even on days when it feels difficult. I look forward to the challenge and personal growth that comes with preparing for such an event.
