  • Manage the clubs twice-weekly treatment clinics for players and members of the club across all age groups from under 11's to veteran players, coaches and club officials.
  • Assess and diagnose a range of MSK injuries providing tailored rehabilitation programmes and treatments
  • Provide pitch-side medical cover as well as pre match taping and treatment for senior men’s, women’s and veterans teams
  • Responsible for maintaining up to date and accurate clinical records in the SOAP note format, in accordance with the HCPC and CSP guidelines
  • Communicate with the injured player, other physiotherapists and first aiders and the coaching staff to organise player load in sessions etc.
  • Provide first aid training and guidance to other first aiders
  • Provide advice and information on injury prevention and assist with the delivery of the senior teams warm up sessions
  • Since September 2025 I have been providing mentorship and supervision to a final year Physiotherapy student and a newly qualified physiotherapist

(I took on this role after volunteering at the club as a student physiotherapist )

(This initially started as a voluntary role during the final year of my BSc university throughout the 2023/2024 season in my first season after which I was offered a permanent position as club physiotherapist)
