This role was limited to few Senior Test Leads, rotating between this role, and still performing their regular duties.

• Responsible for maintaining and calibrating various development kits and test related hardware/software to preserve office effectiveness in meeting deadlines.
• Liaised effectively with other Laboratory Technicians to establish effective coordinated inventory database.
• Handled sensitive Microsoft assets with care, preserving security and safety standards.
• Liaised with multiple test leads to provide technical support and troubleshot issues effectively minimising downtime.

In addition to being adept in the duties of a Certification Tester, Senior Test Leads ensure test plans as performed by they team at a high standard and at a timely manner.

• Collaborate with and act as the liaison between test managers and the certification team, maintaining clear communication and understanding through all stages of the certification process.
• Manage test strategies and test teams of various sizes, ensuring titles provide a fair and stable experience to players as well as adhere to Microsoft's standard.
• Review and verify all bugs encountered during the course of testing, prior to a bull bug report being sent to the publishing team, highlighting all critical failures that must be resolved.
• Push to evolve test strategies and mentor members of the certification team, raising the bar for test practice and heightening quality that matches the ambition of the game.
• Correspond with external development teams, in a professional manner, to bypass obstacles and expedite testing.
• Successfully complete test plans for various titles, ranging from indie to AAA game, within the assigned deadlines. Working flexible hours, covering nights. weekends and bank holidays.

• Adapt to multiple gameplay mechanics daily, from various genres, distributed to and by the Xbox/Microsoft Store.
• Investigate and reproduce bugs during the course of testing, delivering an accurate and detailed report for external development teams to review.
• Keeping up to date with the latest software updates and Xbox Requirements (XRs) for various devices associated with the Xbox Network, and applying this knowledge daily.
• Dependable in individual tasks and capable to participate with the team members to deliver reliable test results for multiplayer modes and content.
• Acquire an understanding of various testing strategies/criteria's, including functionality, compliance, performance and sustainability testing.
• Improve testing quality with meticulous attention to detail whilst carrying tasks.

• Obtained an understanding of health and safety policies in the manufacturing environment through observation and questioning maintenance staff.
• Observe maintenance technicians perform remedial maintenance and repairs on machines.
• Familiarization of maintenance schedules and processes in the workplace.
• Meet and interact with BMW apprentices and full-time engineers, providing an understanding into their day-to-day responsibilities.

Actively involved in the testing of the app during its beta test phase. Testing the app reporting issues during field testing with the test team.

• Taking part in task based activities within a group to organize and coordinate effort towards resolving the problem with the task deadline.
• Observed the workplace in different departments, shadowing the managers/leads of the different fields.
• Understanding of security within a corporate HQ office building.
