Dominic Stanley

Currently on a placement year for marine biology at the University of Plymouth. Usually I spend my summers working on one of the busiest beaches in the UK where we can get anywhere between 25,000-30,000 during peak season where I am responsible for managing daily operations, providing water safety advice to the public, equipment checks, team management and welfare as well as coordinating rescue and emergency situations. This has helped me be used to working in high stress environments as well encouraged me to be very adaptable as we need to be able to respond to rescues and first aids as they come in.
