I believe i have shown not by words but by action with my various roles that i am not shy from trying new things and that i am willing to do any job required I worked quite a few jobs in the understanding that i would develop a jack of all trades type of work ethic that i can do abit of everything. But i am now ready to settle into a career which is the HGV sector. My father was a trucker and took me across france doing long distance and since then i always had an itch to get myself into the game.
I have learnt a lot of things in my time and have developed great communication skills and an ability to use my head to make sensible and calculated decisions.
My role in the police and the reputation that i gained with hard work and the ambition to move forward and do good in a service which requires utmost attention to detail and most of all care and kindness. I am someone you can count on to trust and put in the hard work when time is against you and i do not shy away from taking the lead in situations if need be. I do not fear conflict and love speaking to people. I am a very customer focused person all my previous roles are within the customer sector and that supports my confident personality which is probably why i enjoy proving a service to people. I am a keen admirer of being proactive. I believe I am an extremely competent and consistent worker you will always know what to expect with me i am will shy away from difficult situations nor will i be afraid to progress in a role regardless if it a very demanding role.
An overall summary of myself would be that I am someone that once I’ve started something i like to full fill it till the end. I am always looking to improve and climb ladders if the option is available i am very helpful and i am a teamplayer and will always do my part and more.
I currently work at ICELAND in Leyland as a Trainee Supervisor something that I’ve found to bring me joy meeting all the different customers. I have experience in managing a large team up to 20 staff members and also aware of cash handling and admin.
Alongside my fulltime job i also dedicated 3 years of my life as a volunteer police officer which was incredibly rewarding and i have gained not only lifetime skills and qualifications but a bunch of quality friends and established good relations within the railway environment especially at Preston itself.
I started my Iceland journey as an online picker and then worked my way up and learnt my trade to be able to work in store which led to me being a store supervisor after 1 year.
