Summary

Education Consultant with experience teaching, mentoring and leading across KS1 and KS2 in both the State and Independent sectors in the UK. Previously having worked as the Head of KS1, Designated Safeguarding Lead and an ‘Outstanding’ practitioner at a well-respected infant school in London, I have since established myself as a freelance consultant and trainer. My areas of expertise include:

Assessment and feedback - training in high quality, purposeful assessment practice and meaningful feedback for the children.

Teaching and Learning - creative pedagogical techniques to promote engaging and meaningful learning across all ages and subjects.

Behaviour management - positive and inclusive classroom management skills and techniques, with advice on establishing an effective whole school rewards/sanction system.

Topic based creative curriculum - linking subjects through one topic, creating excitement and purpose for the children in their learning.

Safeguarding - thorough, up to date and engaging training to ensure staff feel confident in knowing how to keep the children and themselves safe.

Growth mindset - Harnessing this power to make every child feel great about themselves and their individual learning journey.

Maths anxiety - building children's (and teachers!) confidence in maths and fostering a love of the subject.
