My journey in Brambles started nearly +9yrs ago as a Senior Business Analyst working on a variety of projects with the majority being in FI. I moved into a Team leader role where I managed a team of 10 business analysts and 3 portfolios. Helped build capability within the team to fulfil the demand, Had weekly check-in with the team to assist in any areas of concern and provide guidance where more attention was required. At the time I reported to Ben Oakes.
The role required consistent interacting with BRM's (Demand Managers) to make sure the objective was clear and kept updated on risks and impacts. During this period, Helped create the BA Onboarding pack that set out the ways of working, templates and processes to be followed.
Assisted Ben Oakes conduct the candidate selection, short listing and interviews of the successful candidates for the Brazil Hub.
I then joined the Project Management team, with a dotted reporting line to the FI BRM at the time to take on the Financial Compliance role. The plan was to monitor and create a team well equipped to handle these complex compliance projects and learn the role of the BRM. Over time the role would evolve into a BRM (Demand Manager) that would focus solely on Finance Compliance. The aim was to create a team that could take on these types of projects and have the right tool set, guidelines and processes to follow to ensure a successful project delivery plan, proper stake holder engagement, communication and delivery to timelines. I would plan and coordinate the roadmap for the Finance function, proactively aligning regional and global strategic priorities. Collaborate with business and technology teams to translate regional/global requirements into technical solutions. Oversee the implementation of the projects to ensure adherence to regional/global business needs.
However, the due to internal reshuffling the plan was not seen through and I continued on the path as a PM. I see this new role as an opportunity for my career to grow in the direction that was initially discussed and where I can add value to the team, build a FI Compliance playbook.
Over the years I have built and maintained great key stakeholder management, excellent communication skills with clear updates on projects. Managing resources availability, understanding the objectives and capabilities of Technology services as well as strong analytical abilities to evaluate, plan and make decisions or recommendations. Keen eye for detail and proactive approach, seamlessly integrating leadership abilities with technical expertise.
Traveling to new locations, sports, action movies, reading, cooking, craft work, motor sports,
